Western Railway Announces Temporary Block Between Vangaon and Dahanu Road, Affecting Train Schedules
Mumbai: The Western Railway’s Mumbai Central Division has announced a block between Vangaon and Dahanu Road stations on Saturday and Sunday due to ongoing monopole foundation work. As a result, the Western Railway has revised its train schedule, which will affect the timings of several trains.
According to the Western Railway, a one-hour block will be in place on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and on Sunday from 9:50 AM to 10:50 AM. During the block period on Saturday, the Virar-Dahanu Road local, scheduled to depart from Virar at 9:30 AM, will run only up to Vangaon. Similarly, the Dahanu Road-Churchgate local, scheduled to depart at 10:25 AM, will originate from Vangaon. The Churchgate-Dahanu Road local, departing from Churchgate at 8:49 AM, will also run only up to Vangaon. Additionally, the Dahanu Road-Virar local, scheduled to depart at 10:35 AM, will originate from Vangaon. On Saturday, Train No. 12990 Ajmer-Dadar Express will run 35 minutes late, and Train No. 12980 Jaipur-Bandra Terminus Express will be delayed by 25 minutes.

On Sunday, the Churchgate-Dahanu Road local, departing from Churchgate at 7:42 AM, will run only up to Vangaon. The Dahanu Road-Virar local, scheduled to depart at 10:35 AM, will originate from Vangaon. The Virar-Dahanu Road local, departing from Virar at 9:30 AM, will run only up to Boisar, while the Dahanu Road-Churchgate local, scheduled to depart at 10:25 AM, will originate from Boisar. Train No. 12934 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Karnavati Express will be delayed by 35 minutes, and Train No. 09653 Ajmer-Bandra Terminus Special will run one hour late.
Passengers are advised to check the revised schedule and plan their journeys accordingly.
