Mega Block Alert: 334 Mumbai Local Trains Cancelled on April 11-12 – Plan Your Journey!

Western Railway has announced a mega block on Mumbai’s local train routes for Friday night (April 11) and Saturday night (April 12). Due to girder work between Mahim and Bandra stations, train services will be heavily affected.

Key Changes You Should Know:

1. Friday Night Block (April 11, 11:00 PM to 8:30 AM)

  • Slow trains (Churchgate-Virar) will run on the fast track between Mumbai Central and Santacruz.
  • Trains will NOT stop at Mahalaxmi, Lower Parel, Prabhadevi, Matunga Road, Mahim, and Khar Road.
  • Last Churchgate-bound train from Virar at 12:05 AM.
  • First train from Bhayandar to Churchgate at 6:10 AM (will run fast between Santacruz and Mumbai Central).
  • Harbor Line trains will run between Goregaon and Bandra.

2. Saturday Night Block (April 12, 11:30 PM to 9:00 AM)

  • Last Churchgate-bound train from Virar at 10:53 PM.
  • First slow train from Virar to Churchgate on Sunday at 8:08 AM.
  • First fast train from Virar to Churchgate at 8:18 AM.
  • First fast train from Churchgate to Virar at 9:03 AM.

What Should Passengers Do?

  • Avoid late-night travel if possible.
  • Check train timings before leaving home.
  • Expect delays on Saturday and Sunday morning.

This mega block is for bridge construction work, so train services will return to normal after Sunday morning. Plan your journey accordingly to avoid trouble!

(Note: If you’re traveling between Mahim and Bandra, expect major disruptions. Use alternate routes if needed.)
